This Tye Band was created for the parents of Brett Phillips after they saw a Tye Band on the wrist of a co-worker. They wanted a Tye Band to honor their son and to comfort them until he comes home.
When first confronted with this request, Tye's parent thought The Tye Band should be reserved only for the fallen. After much consideration, they came to the conclusion that if The Tye Band would honor and comfort friends and family members... what's wrong with that. After all, the Tye Bands provided through our Area Business Tye Band program all read "... and ALL who Serve both Standing & Fallen". When Tye's father is out delivering his message ( see Tye Band News ) he reminds people " Not ALL Heros are Killed in the Line of Duty".
Airman Brett Joseph Phillips is currently serving us in Iraq.
